What’s There To Do In Cromwell?

Cromwell was originally a mining town during the 1800’s gold rush but has since become an excellent getaway destination and place to go for tourists traveling to New Zealand.

Cromwell has many exciting attractions which you should visit when you come here. One of the most popular is the Highlands Motorsport Park, which has hosted many racing series including the V8 Supercars. You can also participate in Hotlaps which sees you sitting in the Passenger seat of cars such as the Lamborghini Hurican going around the track at full noise.

If cars are not your thing then there are a variety of vineyards which you can visit including Misha’s Vineyard, The Wooing Tree or Mount Micheal. An excellent way to spend a relaxing afternoon in the sun!

You can also visit the Cromwell Golfcourse or the Lake Dunstan and go on the Rail Trail through the historic gold mining villiages, pubs and even some off trail adventures.

Cromwell is full of things to see and do. If you would like more information, feel free to contact us and we will be happy to give you advice on what you can do.
