Biking Trails around Cromwell

There are many cycle ways to be enjoyed around the Cromwell surrounds and Lake Dunstan. Stop off at Old Cromwell precinct, Bannockburn, Pisa Moorings or many of the wineries to enjoy some refreshment. A great way to see the area and cycle safely with younger family. There many trails to be enjoyed in the outlying mountain areas for that extra challenge. The Cromwell Summer Series beginning Labour Weekend (October) through to Queens Birthday Weekend (June), provides for the competitive riders and athletes. These include the Bannockburn Gutbuster (November 27), the MTB Classic race and recreation ride (December 30), Lake Dunstan Triathlon and Duathlon (January 2), and the Lake Dunstan Cycle challenge (January 9).
